COOP

Taking our queues from existing building elements, Gibbon Architecture applied Bauhaus architectural language to the exterior renovation of this mid-20th century commercial structure. Renovation of the interior included de-mountable partitions that would allow easier reorganization of tenant spaces within this cooperative workspace. Shared interior spaces open onto an alley-turned-garden patio, turning a narrow & redundant thruway into a desirable asset.
