FRANKLIN YARDS
With former identities as a the Cook-Bousfield mansion in Ohio City, the Westside YWCA & dormitories, a senior living facility, and a commercial garage, Gibbon Architecture is working with developer & repeat client, Dalad Group, to transform this historic campus into rental apartment units using historic tax credits. An adjacent lot will be used for tenant parking.
Immediate removal of non-historic connectors has already opened up the inner courtyard of the campus for outdoor amenity space. Smaller lease spans in the former dormitory buildings, and requirements to hold historic corridor locations, are creative opportunities for Gibbon Architecture to space-plan marketable units in this highly sought-after area of Cleveland.
